這雙繡花鞋是在北京買的，

只有在北京穿才有韻味。

因為

姐穿的不是鞋

是沈思。

沈思在眼前紫禁城的前殿與後宮

沈思在清朝的興盛與衰亡

沈思西方盛起與東方式微

沈思在台北故宮的六十五萬寶物，是原存自眼前

一場因歷史戰亂的遷移，寶物安存在台北外雙溪

似乎是件不得不的好事。

古中國所穿的黑包棉鞋，點上了繡花，

見她在北京路邊櫥窗上，特別有味兒，

而她確實是在北京穿才有味兒，

或者，是西安、成都吧！

Embroidered Shoes

November 6th 2010, I bought this pair of embroidered shoes in Beijing. The buying thought just raised up, when wondering on Beijing high street. Seemed right to wear something just fitted in the city, specifically, the heritages of the city!

Forbidden City

It was my 3rd time to visit Forbidden City where the former 2 times were companied western guests, and the 3rd was companied my Taiwanese friend. This time I wore my newly embroidered shoes which is a traditional cotton made, easy-walk as ordinary people in old China, but with peony-sew for modern time.

When I walked into pathway of Forbidden City, I realised that I was not only wearing a pair of embroidered shoes, but pondering a Qing dynasty.

Qing dynasty, 12 emperors over 296 years, they all lived here where I passed a bit. Once upon a time in Qing dynasty, over a million of treasure relics preserved here but nowadays most ones in Taipei's Palace Museum. It is hardly to say either good or bad. An uncertain and insecured period in the end of Qing and early Republic of China, someone needs to take good care of all cultural treasures from the past dynasties.

Still rememberd the guider at my 1st visiting to Forbidden City, who said that to explore Forbidden City whole concept, need to visit here and Taipei's Palace Museum. That's performed a completed glory and prosperity of Forbidden City.

Away Beijing

Strangely, after away Beijing, this pair of shoes seems not fitted my town, Taipei. Only when I visited Beijing again, or maybe another Chinese ancient cities, such as: Xian, Chendu.

A pair of embroidered shoes,

Brings me to ponder a history.......... on the pathway of a heritage.
